Strong winds pushed a two-alarm fire through a private hunting club in Crapo, southern Dorchester County, just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, moving from building to building and causing $150,000 damage, the Maryland Fire Marshal’s Office reported. No injuries were reported. More than 40 firefighters from the Lakes and Straits Fire Company in Wingate fought the flames for four hours before bringing the firet under control. According to Fire Marshal’s investigators, the fire started in a small utility shed and moved to a hunting cabin, a tractor shed and a maintenance shed. Investigators reported that the fire was discovered by occupant Willard Scott. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
