Through September 29, 717 Gallery in Easton presents “Street Scenes: Life’s Mirror” featuring paintings by Louis Escobedo, a nationally-recognized artist exclusively represented by the gallery. The exhibition will include street scenes from the Eastern Shore, Philadelphia, New York and many other locations. From city skyscrapers to alley vignettes and village cottages, these vibrant streetscapes capture street scenes accented by eye-catching passersby, commuters and people at work.
717 Gallery is pleased to announce that Louis Escobedo, a Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America (OPA), has been accepted from hundreds of applicants into two highly competitive OPA exhibitions. Escobedo’s painting “Salad” was accepted into the 2016 OPA Eastern Regional Exhibition of Traditional Oils, which will be held at the Eisele Gallery of Fine Art in Cincinnati, Ohio from September 9 to October 8, 2016. Another painting titled “12th Street” was accepted into this year’s OPA Salon Show of Traditional Oils, which will be held at the Castle Gallery of Fine Art in Fort Wayne, Indiana from September 30 to October 29, 2016.
