Fitness Rx owner Mark Cuviello is challenging other area gyms, organizations and individuals to field teams for Easton Airport Day’s Jet Pull competition on Saturday, September 27. Teams consisting of three men and three women will compete for the fastest time in pulling an F-104 Starfighter jet weighing approximately 10,000 pounds over a fifty-foot course.
Here, Cuviello and his dog, Wolf, add their weight to a tractor tire to help train his team’s ladies, Angela Wilson, Gina Adams and Merrie DeLauder, left to right.
The entrance fee for teams is $150, with proceeds from Easton Airport Day designated this year to supporting Talbot Mentors.
The Jet Pull is only one of many events for the whole family taking place at Easton Airport Day, including a rubber chicken drop, classic cars and planes on display, helicopter and antique airplane rides and more. Admission is free.
Easton Airport Day takes place on Saturday, September 27, with the opening ceremony at 8:45 a.m. and activities until 3 p.m. The Jet Pull begins at 9:15. For more information, to register for the Jet Pull, become a sponsor or make a donation, visit the event website, www.eastonairportday.com.
