On Sunday September 18, 2016, the Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy hosted ‘Ride for Clean Rivers 2016’ (formerly Tour de Talbot). Cyclists pedaled on the beautiful back roads of Talbot and Queen Anne’s Counties in support of clean water for our Midshore rivers.
Ride for Clean Rivers featured metric (62-mile), 35-mile, and a 20-mile rides. The metric got underway at 8:00 am at Chesapeake College, with the other rides following. All rides had SAG support and food and drink was available at each rest stop. There was an outdoor barbeque celebration and music at the finish line.
All donations benefited the Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy.
