Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers is looking ahead to warmer temperatures with the opening of 2015 summer camp registration. “Extreme Summer 2015” includes 10 weeks of extreme fun throughout CACC’s five Talbot County sites which include two locations in Easton as well as St. Michaels, Cordova and Trappe. Weekly themed activities include swimming lessons, field trips, special guests and other fun surprises, all in a safe, educational environment with CACC’s team of MSDE accredited teachers and staff. Each camp session is one week in length and is programmed with a unique theme with sessions running from 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Costs vary by program and age. Breakfast, a lunch supplement and a snack is included.
This year’s themes are: Adventure Island, Crazy Critters, Mad Scientist, Happy Birthday, America, The Great Outdoors, Little Chefs, Sports of All Sorts, Space Camp Eastern Shore, Game Show Wizard and Pirate Adventures.
“We are really excited about this year’s summer camps, which are a wonderful mix of fun themes and educational programming,” says Kristine George, Critchlow Adkins Executive Director. “Our MSDE accredited team of teachers has some exciting things in store for our campers this summer!”
CACC will offer several discounts for families registering their children from “Extreme Summer” 2015. An “early birds” who register their campers by April 15 will receive either a waiver of the $30 registration fee or a comparable tuition credit. A new referral program is also available which provides a free day of camp for each friend who is referred and completes at least one week of CACC camp.
Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers (CACC), Easton, is an accredited, educationally-based childcare program serving more than 450 children aged two through 12 in five locations throughout Talbot County. For more than four decades CACC has touched the lives of more than 8,000 children and adults. Each year it provides $120,000 in tuition assistance to more than 115 families.
