On September 19, 20 & 21, from 9am to 3pm, well-known local artist Mary Ekroos will be teaching a workshop sponsored by Talbot County Visual Art Center about going back to the basics of how to apply what you see to canvas. Artist attending the work shop will work on the principles of painting, composition, use of color, form and light. This will bring out each artist’s own distinctive style.
The workshop will be held at the Spitaleri estate. In the morning there will be demonstrations with painting afterwards. Weather permitting we will be working “En Plein Air”; if not, we will be paint in the studio. Please bring a few photo references of landscapes and marine subjects for any studio work.
The cost for members of the Talbot County Visual Art Center will be $125.00 and $155.00 for non-members. Please bring bag lunch.
