Jazz on the Chesapeake is in the business of surprises and never more so than this December 11 in Easton, MD. Chuck Redd, recently recognized by Hot House Jazz magazine as the nation’s best vibraphonist in 2015, has assembled an All-Star band to create holiday magic. Capturing this musical surprise is pianist Ted Rosenthal who just days earlier is headlining a concert at Lincoln Center performing Gershwin’s Concerto for Piano in F major
The holiday show will start at 8:00 p.m. at the Academy Art Museum and the ticket cost is $45 per person. The Jazz on the Chesapeake Series ticket, which also includes concerts headlined by René Marie (May 12) and Joe Alterman (February 13), will remain available through December 11, 2015 and costs $140 for all three concerts. For further information or to purchase tickets, visit ChesapeakeJazz.org or call 410-819-0380.
