Author of “Hearts Away, Bombs Away” to Speak at Library
On Thursday, May 14, at 6:30 p.m., Vincent dePaul Gisriel, Jr., will read from and discuss his book, “Hearts Away, Bombs Away,” the true story of a World War II hero and the woman who loved him. When Gisriel discovered the cache of letters his mother and father wrote each other during the war, he quickly realized he’d found more than just a first-person account of life as an American bombardier, he’d discovered a great love story. All library programs are free and open to the public. Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program. For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.
