Weave a Vase with Heidi Wetzel 3/1, SATURDAY, 9:30am-3:30pm Tuition $30 Learn to weave a beautiful woven vase with a glass liner in a matter of hours. All levels, beginners welcome. Heidi’s beginning was in fine and traditional wicker basketry, and she now weaves with materials from nature, as well as waxed linen, waxed sinew, hand spun yarn, and many more. “People who meditate are more joyous, more healthy and more resilient.” Healing Meditations are designed to nourish your spirit and your being. Each month a different meditation will be presented, using guided exercises to promote mental acuity, emotional health, physical health and well-being. The meditations vary from focusing inward to using meditative awareness in daily activities such as walking, driving or eating. Everyone is welcome. Weave Pencil Holders for Beginners and Children with Heidi Wetzel 3/8, SATURDAY, 1:00pm-4:00pm Tuition: $15 This class is a perfect introduction to weaving, ideal for beginners and children (6 yrs. and up), and would make a wonderful-parent-child activity. Participants will complete one basket (pencil holder) from materials and tools supplied. This is a great activity for parent/adult with child/children. Zentangle Basics with Susan Green 3/13 THURSDAY 6:30pm-8:00pm; Member: $35; Nonmember: $40 Note: Rescheduled from 1/27; this is the second Basics session. Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing structured, repetitive patterns from which beautiful images emerge. SoulCollage® Introduction and Studio Day with Katherine Johnson 3/22 Saturday 10am-4 pm Introduction to Soul Collage® Tuition: all day $45 3/22 Saturday 1pm-4pm Studio afternoon for those who have taken an Intro class: $15 The morning will be an introduction to SoulCollage®. We’ll break for lunch, and then enjoy the afternoon making SoulCollage® cards and learning ways to interpret them. Those who have had the introduction to Soul Collage may join us for the afternoon. This is a perfect day for those who are either curious about or already love the SoulCollage® process. Materials and supplies will be provided, and participants can use these or any images that may have been collected. A day of community, a hum of creativity, and a sharing of our intuitive process will be enjoyed by all!
