Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum Volunteer and Education Coordinator Allison Speight checks out the kayak that will be raffled off at CBMM’s May 22 Community Block Party, with proceeds benefiting the children and adults served by the non-profit museum.
Donated by Survival Products of Salisbury, Md., the Perception Prodigy 10.0 kayak includes a Harmony Drifter aluminum paddle and life jacket, with tickets available now through May 22 at $5 each or 5 for $20. The recipient of the kayak need not be present on May 22, but will need to arrange pick up of the kayak from CBMM. The Community Block Party showcases the community while closing out the museum’s year-long 50th anniversary celebration. Raffle tickets can be purchased online at bit.ly/kayakraffle and at CBMM, with more information at www.cbmm.org.
