ST Michaels – On November 15, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office served a criminal summons on Travis Holt Johnson, 19 of St Michaels, MD charging him with numerous counts of theft and credit card fraud. An investigation conducted by this Office revealed between October 9th and October 23rd, Johnson utilized a credit card issued to another on several occasions with the intent to fraud the credit card company. Johnson was released upon his signature on the criminal summons.
Easton – On November 14, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 10000 block of Hailem School Road for a possible burglary in progress. Responding Deputies located Michelle Jeanette Dahlman, 28 of Trappe, MD who witnesses observed enter a residence in the area. A check of the residence showed evidence of a burglary, and Dahlman was placed under arrest. After obtaining additional witness statements and gathering evidence, Dahlman was charged with burglary and malicious destruction of property. Dahlman was processed and taken before a District Court Commissioner who ordered her held on a $7,500.00 bond.
Easton – On November 14, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a black Toyota Highlander on Easton Parkway near St Michaels Road for an equipment violation. Upon contact with the operator, Drew Parker-Knod Hansen, 19 of Easton, MD, the Deputy detected the odor of burning marijuana. After calling for assistance, the Deputy had the operator and passenger, Zachary Alan-Benner Williams, 18 of Easton, MD exit the vehicle and a search was conducted. The Deputies located marijuana and smoking devices in the vehicle. As a result, Hansen was charged with two counts of possession of paraphernalia and Williams was charged with possession of marijuana and two counts of paraphernalia. Both were issued criminal citations and were released upon their signatures.
Tilghman – On November 17, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 21000 block of Elmer Street for a dispute which resulted in a malicious destruction of property. The Deputies made contact with Glen Marshall Foster who advised he had a dispute with Joseph Edward Schwartz Jr, 23 of Tilghman MD over his dog. Foster stated his dog had gone to Schwartz’s residence due to a dog at this residence being in heat. Foster stated he observed injuries on his dog which appeared to be made from a BB gun. As Foster responded to Schwartz’s residence to retrieve his dog, he observed Schwartz in possession of a BB gun and an argument ensued. Foster stated as he was leaving Schwartz’s residence in his vehicle, Schwartz ran towards his vehicle smashed out his passenger window and broke the passenger side rear view mirror. Schwartz was issued a criminal citation for malicious destruction of property and released upon his signature.
Royal Oak – On November 19, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 5000 block of Poplar Lane for a theft of a registration plate. Responding Deputies discovered someone had utilized tin snips to cut the corner off a trailer registration plate and took the renewal sticker. The complainant, George Edward Holley supplied possible suspect information to the Deputy, who was able to respond to the residence of Howard Keith Turner, 51 of Royal Oak, MD and locate the stolen property. Turner admitted to stealing the registration plate due to his vehicle registration being expired. Turner was charged with theft and malicious destruction of property, being released upon his signature on the charging document.
