One would think that after working on holiday shows for four years in a row at the Avalon, director Tim Weigand’s enthusiasm for the famed holiday broadway hit would start to wane. But, in fact, Tim’s oversight of over seventy cast and crew makes his adrenaline flow.
Part of it is the storyline. How can anyone resist this universal message of faith in “Miracle of 34th Street”? But for Tim, it is also the rare convergence of community theatre and exceptional high production values that has made this kind of performance a special one for Talbot County and the Avalon Foundation.
In his interview with the Spy, Tim talks about the meaning of 34th Street, and the fun of introducing the craft of acting to some of Talbot County’s young rising talents.
