The St. Michaels Art League is very pleased to announce its Columbus Day Weekend Show and Sale. The show that was scheduled for the Labor Day Weekend was unfortunately postponed due to pending bad weather, but the dates for the Columbus Day Weekend show of October 8th and 9th are great days to get out in the fresh air and enjoy this beautiful event of art and demonstrations.
Show dates, place and time are October 8 and 9, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church’s lawn at 304 S. Talbot Street, St. Michaels; with hours on Saturday the 8th from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, the 9th from 12:30 to 5 pm.
Over 30 league artists will be displaying their original work. Framed designs for the “Celebrate St. Michaels” banners that hang on Talbot Street each year will be for sale, as well as previous years’ street banners. There will be artists demonstrating painting in mediums: acrylic, colored pencils, oils, pastels, and watercolors.
For more information visit www.smartleague.org or contact Joan Cranor at 410-310-8382 or Janet Prieger at 410-745-2329.
This program is funded, in part, by a grant from the Talbot County Arts Council, with revenues provided by the Maryland Arts Council.
