This Talbot Historical Society H. Robins Hollyday Collection photo is of the picturesque Peachblossom Creek on the way to Oxford, Maryland c. 1950. The estates of Locust Grove and Ellenborough are on the right side and further up stream you can see the first 9 holes of the Talbot Country Club. The second nine was completed in 1964. On the left side is the beginning of the Oaklands development! The first Peachblossom Bridge was built in the 1660’s where route 50 now crosses over the PeachBlossom and in 1893 a bridge was built in the present location as part of a new road from Easton to Oxford!
