Easton Library to Offer Intro to Audio Books for Children
On Tuesday, August 22, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer an introduction to audio books for children 6 and older. Participants will learn the art of narration from Charley Baker (who narrates for Audible.com) during this interactive S.T.E.M. program. Children may bring their own book or choose a library book to read, record, listen to, and edit. All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons do need to pre-register to participate in this program. St. Michaels Library to Host Children’s Luau Party
On Tuesday, August 22, at 2:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will host an Hawaiian luau for children 2 to 12 years of age (children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult). Hawaiian culture will be celebrated through crafts, music, dance, and food. All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons do need to pre-register to attend the luau.
