Easton – On October 24, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Robin’s Nest Flower Shop on Ocean Gateway for a malicious destruction of property to a company vehicle. Deputies were directed to a blue delivery van located in the parking lot that had extensive damage. The caller advised the van is left in the parking lot overnight and when he arrived in the morning he noticed the damage, which occurred between October 23 evening hours and October 24 in the early morning. Easton – On October 27, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle on Ocean Gateway in the Easton area. The vehicle, gold in color 2008 Kia Optima with Maryland registration, passed the marked Talbot County Sheriff’s vehicle traveling in excessive speed. Upon stopping the vehicle, the Deputy noted the odor of marijuana in the vehicle and called for assistance. The Deputies removed the operator and three passengers at which time marijuana and smoking devices were located throughout the interior of the vehicle. As a result the following persons were arrested; Cameron Cloyd Chaffin, 19 of Dover, DE, Tyiesha Benton, 20 of Dover, DE, Justile Julia Hall, 20 of Cranbury, NJ and Jewel Dara Coles, 21 of Dover, DE. Each was charged on criminal citation with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. All defendants were processed and released upon their signatures on the criminal citations.
Cordova – On October 27, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a white in color 2012 Volkswagon being operated by Ryan Daniel Baxter, 20 of Queen Anne, MD for speeding. The Deputy noted a passenger in the vehicle identified as Kaci Goslin, 19 of Queen Anne, MD. A check of Baxter’s drivers license revealed an active protective order issued by the District Court for Talbot County, which included a no contact order with Kaci Goslin. The Deputy placed Baxter under arrest for violating a protective order. Baxter was processed and taken before a District Court Commissioner who released him on his personal recognizance.
