Mid-Shore Community Foundation Launches Mid-Shore Connect: Expanded Training and Networking for Nonprofit Organizations

In response to the evolving needs of the local nonprofit community, Mid-Shore Community Foundation has announced a significant expansion of its events and offerings through its program, Mid-Shore Connect. The offerings which are designed to build practical skills and foster collaboration, blend expert instruction with peer connection – bringing nonprofits and community leaders together for learning, leadership, and collaboration.

“We are excited to expand our offerings and provide more opportunities for our nonprofit community to connect,” said Buck Duncan, President of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation. “We conducted a survey and asked local organizations what they needed and wanted, and we are proud to turn that feedback into action.”

The newly expanded schedule includes a mix of in-person workshops, webinars, and events.

The schedule launches February 27 with a Grant Writing Workshop led by Lili Leonard of Black Dog Philanthropic Consulting.

On June 24, he will return to teach attendees how to craft a compelling case for support to inspire giving.

The Foundation has partnered with the Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce to present Coffee and Connections – a networking opportunity on April 21.
