Easton Utilities is pleased to announce the promotion of Kirsten Tieder to Human Resources Manager. In this role, she will ensure the consistent and compliant delivery of core HR services, including recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, compensation, employee engagement, and retention.

Tieder joined Easton Utilities in 2025, bringing eight years of professional human resources experience from her prior roles at Dixon Valve & Coupling Company, Aphena Pharma Solutions and NJI Media. At these organizations, she held positions of increasing responsibilities all focused on the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to training initiatives and employee recognition programs.
As the Human Resources Manager, Tieder will leverage her leadership skills and innovative HR strategies to help drive culture, improve workforce performance, and help Easton Utilities carry out the mission “to enhance the quality of life in our community”. She has already enhanced the onboarding process for new employees and is driving the implementation of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) system. The new HRIS will centralize employee data, standardize HR processes, improve data accuracy, and strengthen compliance with regulatory requirements by transitioning from manual and disparate systems to a unified platform.
An Eastern Shore native, Tieder holds a BA in Psychology from Washington College and an MS in Human Resource Management from Wilmington University and is a SHRM-Certified Professional. She resides in Trappe with her husband and two sons.
