Residents of Talbot County and Maryland’s Eastern Shore will gather in Easton on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the NO KINGS III Rally & Sign Wave, part of a growing nationwide movement affirming that in America power belongs to the people—not to any one leader.
The Easton event joins demonstrations planned in communities across the country and internationally. The NO KINGS movement emphasizes the founding American principle that the United States rejected monarchy in favor of democratic governance, checks and balances, and the rule of law.
The first two NO KINGS nationwide days of action drew millions of participants across thousands of cities and towns in all 50 states, with events also held in several other countries. Organizers expect the March 28 events—often referred to as NO KINGS III—to continue that momentum with thousands of rallies and sign waves expected nationwide.
Local organizers say the Easton event will be a peaceful community gathering and sign wave, giving residents an opportunity to publicly support democratic values and constitutional principles. Participants are encouraged to bring signs, American flags, and messages supporting democracy.
