The public is warmly invited to attend a special community concert titled “Songs of Resistance & Hope” on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at St. Paul’s Church in Oxford, Maryland.
In the finest American folk tradition, Magpie brings you a stirring night of music. This concert weaves together past and present with original works by Terry Leonino & Greg Artzner, alongside powerful selections from other contemporary songwriters, and classics from writers such as Pete Seeger and Phil Ochs. Expect an unforgettable evening filled with songs of outrage and resistance, sorrow and humor, hope and determination – music that challenges, inspires, and brings people together just when it matters most.
Terry Leonino & Greg Artzner are award-winning musicians, singer/songwriters, history scholars, and activists whose work has long reflected a deep commitment to social justice and cultural heritage.
