The Church of the Holy Trinity, Oxford is honored to share SGM (Ret) Bob McDonald and pianist Tony Nalker for an exciting afternoon of memorable songs from Broadway to the Silver Screen. The concert will take place in the Parish Hall, 502 S. Morris St. Oxford MD, Sunday May 3, 2026 at 4 p.m.
In November 2025 Bob McDonald and Tony Nalker performed A Tributed to Frank Sinatra to a full house, as part of Holy Trinity’s 2025 concert series. Responding to audience demand, we are honored to welcome these extremely talented and enjoyable personalities for a Spring concert. SGM (Ret) Bob McDonald, Baritone, served as Group Leader and a member of the U.S. Army Chorus for over 26 years. He performed regularly at the White House, and for visiting dignitaries from across the globe. Bob is a regular fixture of the DC musical theatre and cabaret scene, and has performed at such venues as The Kennedy Center, Metro Stage, Folger Theatre, AMP by Strathmore, Wolf Trap, and Signature Theatre, among others. You’ll recognize Bob as the familiar face to Washington Capital fans, currently in his 33rd season of singing the hockey team’s National Anthem.
Tony Nalker performs widely in Washington, D.C. currently serving as jazz pianist with the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra Pops. Serving as the pianist in the Army Blues (1989-2016), Tony played for the highest levels of the U.S. government and military as well as performing on USO tours to Iraq and Afghanistan along with State Department sponsored musical diplomacy tours to Russia, Kenya, and Ethiopia.
