It’s that baseball time of year again! Did you know Talbot County has produced 2 Baseball Hall of Fame Inductees! Pictured Frank “Homerun” Baker from Trappe , Maryland was born in 1886 and died in 1963. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955! This photo is from the photo Collection of Frank “Homerun” Baker and was reprinted by Laird Wise in 1958 and was found in the Talbot Historical Society’s Laird Wise Collection. Our second Talbot County Inductee is Harold Baines from St. Michaels, Maryland. Harold was born in 1959 and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019!
