For the third consecutive year, Talbot County will be holding its Senior Fair, and it couldn’t come at a better time for local elders. Faced with mounting issues related to health, financial stability, and quality of life issues, the region’s seniors can find the entire range of services offered to them by both government and non-profit agencies all under one roof.
In their Spy interview, Talbot County Commission on Aging members Jen Pierson and Megan Murray talk about how this free community event is designed to connect older adults, caregivers, and families with essential health and wellness services throughout the Mid Shore region. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with dozens of local vendors, ranging from home health agencies to leisure and fitness organizations like the Easton Family YMCA. The event highlights include free health screenings, such as on-site testing for A1C, Hepatitis C, and HIV, along with professional balance assessments. Residents can also take advantage of safe medication disposal for expired or unused prescription drugs and access expert consultations from representatives in senior living, legal, and financial services. The afternoon will also feature various raffles and giveaways for attendees.
Senior Resource Fair taking place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Easton Volunteer Fire Department located at 315 Leonard Rieck Drive. For more information, please go here.
