Sunday afternoon, May 31st at 4 p.m. The Church of the Holy Trinity (Oxford) will dedicate their new, custom designed, three manual Walker Digital Organ. This organ was designed by Monte Maxwell, concert organist, and built by Walker Technical Company, Allentown PA.
We are excited to share this state-of-the-art organ designed to play organ literature from all periods and styles of music. You will hear the intimate sounds of the strings and flutes, the subtle woodwinds, intimate horns, festive brass, and exciting strength of the full organ. The sounds you hear were specifically chosen pipe organ sounds from organs across our nation and throughout the world specifically for this Sanctuary. Please join us for an afternoon of beautiful music performed by one of our country’s most talented and in demand concert organists.
Presently, Monte Maxwell serves as Director of Chapel Music and Chapel Organist with the United States Naval Academy. This concert is a gift from The Church of the Holy Trinity to the greater community. No offerings, donations, or tickets will be taken. We would like to request those in attendance bring a non-perishable food item for the local food pantries, to help our neighbors in need.
