The Mid Shore’s original pet photo contest is back. Talbot Humane’s 8th annual photo calendar contest, Petparazzi, offers pet lovers the opportunity to enter their dogs, cats, or other small companion animals in a photo competition while raising funds for the shelter’s animal care and community outreach services. In its first seven years, the Petparazzi calendar contest raised over $105,000 through the generous support of the community.
Beginning June 15, participants may enter their pets’ photos online until the contest ends on August 16. Using email and social media, entrants urge their family, friends, and co-workers to “vote” with dollars for their pets on the contest website. The pets who receive the most votes in their respective categories (Dog, Cat, and *Other* Companion Animal) at the end of the contest will each be featured as a Pet of the Month in the 2027 Talbot Humane Petparazzi Calendar. The pet who raises the most funds overall will also appear as the 2027 Petparazzi CoverPet. The entry fee of $30 is considered a tax-deductible donation to Talbot Humane and includes a copy of the 2027 calendar with each entry. Additional copies will be available for purchase at Talbot Humane .
