The Plein Air Painters of the Chesapeake Bay (PAPCB) are pleased to invite the public to an exhibit reception and to view them painting, indoors and out, on Saturday July 11, 2026, from 2-4 p.m.
Stop by to meet and greet the artists, watch them paint, buy art, and enjoy the afternoon. Their exhibit of 49 paintings by 17 artists will hang in The Gallery at Dover Station, a dedicated rotating gallery space within The Market, through August 31.
Since 2014, the Plein Air Painters of the Chesapeake Bay have gathered weekly from early spring through late fall. They set up their easels to paint on waterfronts, in historic villages, and at working farms, exploring and documenting our region through their art. Membership is inclusive and varied, from those just starting their artistic journey to seasoned nationally known professionals including a number of Plein Air Easton Alumni Artists. As a group with over 70 members, they enjoy friendship, camaraderie, and supportive critique, and welcome all to come join them.
