The Town of Easton is inviting residents and visitors to share their thoughts on the community’s parks through the Easton Parks Survey.
The short survey is designed to help the Town better understand how people currently use Easton’s parks, how satisfied they are with the existing parks system, and what improvements and amenities the community would like to see in the future.
Participants are encouraged to provide feedback on a wide range of potential amenities, including playground equipment, walking trails, pickleball and basketball courts, sports fields, pavilions, gardens, fitness facilities, splash pads, water access, and more. The survey also asks participants to identify which existing parks could benefit from additional amenities and whether Easton needs additional parks.
The community feedback from this survey will be used to help shape the upcoming Parks and Recreation Annual Plan.
“Easton’s parks are for everyone, and we want to give everyone a chance to have a say in how they evolve over time,” said Lorraine Gould, Director of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Easton. “Let us know if there’s something new you’d like to see in town and maybe we can make it happen.”
The survey also provides an opportunity for participants to share how they use Easton’s parks, whether for recreation, sports, exercise, relaxation, family activities, or other purposes.

Formally recognized in 1710 by the Province of Maryland, Easton is the county seat of Talbot County.
