The Spy Newspapers and the Avalon Foundation will present a special election edition of Conversations with Craig Fuller on Thursday, October 22, at 6 p.m. in the Stoltz Listening Room. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Fuller will be joined by political commentators Len Foxwell and Clayton Mitchell, co-hosts of the Spy’s weekly Maryland Caucus podcast. Their conversation will examine the major issues and political developments shaping Maryland and the Eastern Shore just days before the November 3 general election.
“We are delighted that Craig will bring Len and Clayton together for a timely and thoughtful conversation about this important election,” said Spy publisher Dave Wheelan. “They bring different political perspectives, but share a commitment to informed and civil discussion.”
Foxwell is the founder of Tred Avon Strategies and previously served as chief of staff to Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot. Mitchell is an Eastern Shore attorney and former chairman of the Maryland Department of Labor’s Board of Appeals. He was most recently chair of the Ed Hale for Governor campaign.
Tickets are $25, plus fees. Proceeds help support the Spy’s nonprofit journalism and the Avalon Foundation’s public affairs programming.
