Continuum Dance will present Dreamers Reprise at the Oxford Community Center on Saturday, September 26 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, September 27 at 2 p.m. The performances remount the company’s original contemporary dance work, which premiered in fall 2025.
Exploring themes of aspiration, identity, resilience, and community, Dreamers Reprisefeatures adult dancers of varied ages and abilities, including returning and new Continuum Dance company members. The production also includes community members who will join the company on stage in a piece created especially for the performance. For some participants, the production will be their first opportunity to perform before a live audience.
“Dreamers Reprise brings together people with different experiences, backgrounds, and relationships to dance,” said Malley Hester, Artistic Director of Continuum Dance. “The work is rooted in the idea that dance can be a place for expression, connection, and possibility. We are excited to share the stage with company dancers and community participants and to welcome audiences into that experience.”
The remounting gives Continuum Dance the opportunity to revisit the work with new performers and a renewed creative perspective. The performance reflects the company’s commitment to making contemporary dance accessible and meaningful for the broader Delmarva community.
Continuum Dance invites audience members who are able to support its Community Ticket Fund. The purchase of a Community Ticket helps make it possible for a community member to attend the performance who might otherwise be unable to afford a ticket.
Tickets and additional performance information are available at Continuum Dance’s Upcoming Events page. For more information, visit www.
