The Avalon Foundation and the Talbot Spy will host a Talbot County Council candidates town hall on Tuesday, October 6, at 6 p.m. at the Avalon Theatre in Easton. The event is free and open to the public.
Dennis Forney, Spy columnist and publisher emeritus of the Delaware-based Cape Gazette, will be serving as moderator.
Beginning September 16, the Avalon and the Spy will conduct a public poll to identify the key issues facing Talbot County and invite residents to submit questions for the candidates. The results will inform the town hall discussion.
The program will include questions for the candidates, moderated discussion, and two-minute closing statements. It will be recorded for later viewing on the Talbot Spy website and broadcast on MCTV.

Thanks for doing this again, Spy. Much appreciated.
Good opportunity for the voters to assess the candidates and their platforms!
Which candidates will be there?
