Celebrate The Trippe Gallery’s 13th Birthday on Friday October 2 with a special reception during First Friday Gallery walk from 5-7 pm. To embrace this milestone, the gallery will be featuring art that represents “All Things Eastern Shore” from native landscapes to skipjacks, area landmarks, birds, crabs and watermen. The gallery is pleased to announce the addition of award winning artist Martin Geiger. Pictured is “Rear Tidewater”, an oil painting depicting the patio area behind The Tidewater Inn. Geiger is well known locally as the winner of the Artist and Judge’s Choice Award in 2023 at Plein Air Easton as well as the Grand Prize winner in 2025. Geiger studied in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for four years at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and now lives in Staunton, Virginia.
