Beginning this year, 717 Gallery in Easton will modify its participation in Easton’s First Friday Gallery Walk. Rather than being open every month during First Friday Gallery Walk, the gallery will participate when a new show opens, which will occur on four First Fridays throughout the upcoming year.
The 2015 exhibit schedule is shown below, along with 717’s Gallery Walk dates.
Through April 1 – New paintings by Louis Escobedo and Chris Wilke, along with paintings on consignment from Escobedo’s personal collection. Stop by during gallery hours or by appointment to view this fascinating exhibit.
April 3 – May 30, 2015 – “Urban Landscape and Quiet Moments,” featuring specially selected works by Louis Escobedo and Chris Wilke. An opening reception will be held during First Friday Gallery Walk on Friday,
April 3.
June 5 – July 31, 2015 – 717 Gallery National Invitational Show, featuring these invited artists from across the country: Carolyn Anderson, Nancy Seamons Crookston, John Michael Carter, Peggi Kroll Roberts, Howard Friedland, Robert Lemler, Paul Mullally, Charles Movalli, Ned Mueller, Ray Roberts, Laura Robb, Randall Sexton, Matt Smith, and Kevin Weckbach. An opening reception will be held during First Friday Gallery Walk on Friday, June 5.
September 4 – October 30 – Solo Show by Louis Escobedo. An opening reception will be held during First Friday Gallery Walk on Friday, September 4.
November 6 – December 31, 2015 – “Small Treasures,” featuring small paintings by Louis Escobedo and Chris Wilke. An opening reception will be held during First Friday Gallery Walk on Friday, November 6.
