Beginning April 4, Easton’s newest art gallery, 717 Gallery, will be open during First Friday Gallery Walk. Through April 30, 717 Gallery presents paintings, charcoals, and fine art prints created by Carolyn Anderson, Scott Burdick, Mark Daily, Louis Escobedo, Ramon Kelley, Susan Lyon, Will Wilson, Hollis Williford, and Zhang Wen Xin.
Easton’s newest art gallery, 717 Gallery, opened in October 2013. This bright, spacious gallery features nationally recognized artists and hosts invitational exhibitions and gallery events throughout the year. Visitors will find evocative figures, still lifes, street scenes, and landscapes created by some of America’s best artists, all under one roof.
Louis Escobedo’s “Light Source” has been accepted into the Oil Painters of America 2014 National Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils to be held at the Bennington Center the Arts, Bennington, Vermont in June.
717 Gallery hosts a reception each month from 5-8pm during Easton’s First Friday Gallery Walk. The gallery is located at 717 Goldsborough Street in Easton. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10:30am to 5:00pm, and Sunday by appointment.
