In light of COVID-19, Whole Note Coffee has reduced its hours and scaled back its business to promote the safety and well-being of our community. As a newly-formed small business, the impact of COVID-19 has greatly impacted us. Much of our income these days comes from the sale of (delicious) coffee bags, which offers a smaller margin since we partner with Open Seas Coffee Roasters.
Because of this, we are covering our expenses through the sale of merchandise, specifically, really cool t-shirts designed by our own employee, Carrie Kerins.
In addition, we are starting a fundraiser to support and shed light on an issue that is very important to our community and close to our hearts–the Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence (MSCFV). While the stay-at-home order is necessary for our safety, there are many people who find themselves quarantined with their abusers. MSCFV provides resources and support to those in our community who are the most vulnerable in this crisis.
Our mission at Whole Note has always been to connect with and foster community, and doing our part to raise awareness and funds for a non-profit doing much-needed work in this time is really important to us. Because of this, 15% of all profits from the sale of our merchandise will go directly to MSCFV.
Thank you so much for your support!
If you or a loved one need help, the MSCFV’s hotlines are open 24/7, which includes options to get in contact on their social media pages and their website. Call 800-927-4673
