Soroptimist International of Talbot County will host the 8th Annual Jigsaw Puzzle Jamboree from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 8 at the Talbot County Senior Center, 400 Brookletts Avenue, Easton.
Teams of four people compete to assemble the same 500-piece jigsaw puzzle in the fastest time. Prizes are awarded for first-, second- and third-place teams.
Lunch is included in the $25 per person registration fee. Reserve your team of four people for $100, but if you register as an individual, placement on a team is guaranteed. The Jigsaw Jamboree is a great way to spend a cold, February Saturday, and Soroptimists encourage puzzle-lovers of all ages to participate. Whether you’re a puzzle pro or a casual player, expect a good time and a lot of laughs. Proceeds from the Jigsaw Jamboree will support Soroptomist “Best for Women” projects locally, including the club’s “Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls program for adolescent girls.
