I write in support of Don Abatiello for Easton Town Council President. Now before you scroll to the end of this letter and dismiss its worthiness based on my address, consider that we, in the towns surrounding Easton, often spend lots of time in Easton. What happens in Easton effects all of us, making leadership on the Town Council very important indeed. Consider the credentials of Don Abatiello:
6 years of service on the Town Council
30 years in our public schools
16 years volunteering as an Easton firefighter
Membership on the Affordability Housing Board
In his six years on the Town Council, Don has confronted the pressures of developers, exacting positive outcomes for the town. He has experience with comprehensive planning and also judicious budget management. The president of the Town Council sets the meeting agendas and hence the all-important focus of the future direction for the responsible growth of the town.
Don brings strong skills to create the next iteration of Easton.
Vote Don Abatiello for Town Council President on May 6th.
