The St. Michaels Art League and the St. Michaels Branch of the Talbot County Library are pleased to offer a FREE video course:“Mark Making and Drawing” with Dawn Emerson. One session Thursday, February 15, 2018, 10 to noon at the St Michaels Library.
If you want to enhance your drawing skills and make your art more creative and free, this course is for you. Using pencil, ink and pastel, Emerson gives you permission to use your imagination while building on solid art principles – composition, line, shape, texture and more. You will find Emerson to be an energetic, inspiring instructor. This course is a great way to hone new skills and loosen up!
Bring your own materials to draw along (sketch pad, pencils or charcoal) or just watch. You will also learn how to make a simple monotype using water miscible oil on a plastic plate.
The course is FREE and open to everyone. No previous experience is necessary and no prior registration is needed. For more information go to smartleague.org or contact Camille Woodbury at [email protected] or 410-253-3262.
