On Wednesday, September 24, American Conversations will host its second conversation on terrorism at 7:00 p. m. at the Avalon Theater on Dover Street in Easton
Participants are Christine Dolan, broadcast and print investigative reporter who has been with ABC, CNN and other major media outlets during her 30-year career. She has traveled and reported on the Middle East, Africa and other regions. She is joined by Christopher Shays, Distinguished Fellow in Public Service at the University of New Haven. A member of Congress for 21 years, he chaired more than 20 hearings on terrorism prior to 9/11 in his capacity as senior member of the Homeland Security Committee. He traveled 19 times to Iraq.
Retired Special Forces Manor David J King, Jr., who was injured in the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon, has served in various theatres fighting terrorists.
