Ampersand to Perform at Blue Crab Coffeehouse July 13

Ampersand brings traditional American music to the Blue Crab Coffeehouse in St. Michael’s for a special evening show at 7:00pm on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

From murder ballads to rousing blues to modern folk songs, this family-friendly, interactive group brings guitars, banjo, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, bass, and percussion to underpin rich vocal harmonies.

Ampersand’s core duo, Beth Lawton & Dick Hogle, will be joined by Dave Moore (banjo, bass, guitar, harmonica, vocals) and Topher Lawton (vocals, bouzouki, percussion) for this evening of songs and tunes.

Recent and favorite gigs include the Lancaster Historical Society (Lancaster, VA); a regular monthly jam session at the UU Fellowship (Easton, MD); Stratford Hall (Colonial Beach, VA); Civil War programs at Monocacy National Battlefield (Frederick, MD); Spartanburg (SC) Historical Society; Easton Farmers Market (Easton, MD); Londonderry (Easton MD); outdoor programs at Adkins Arboretum (Ridgely, MD); VegFest at Cult Classic Brewery (Stevensville, MD); and the St. Michael’s (MD) Farmers Market.
