AT&T Contribution Supports St. Michaels Art League ARTfest

April 10, 2014 by St. Michaels Art League

Share

The St. Michaels Art League, Inc. is excited and proud to announce a $10,000 contribution from AT&T for 2014 to support community activities and efforts by the Art League.

Check present copyThe contribution will support and anchor a seasonL-long “St. Michaels Art League ARTfest,” a 25-year anniversary celebration to enhance the Art League’s community outreach programs serving visitors and residents alike. The support will enable the Art League to introduce additional educational programs for the community including free art talks, art classes for adults and children, gallery displays in town, special events for children, and more. ARTfest will be a town-wide effort during the summer and fall months of 2014.

In addition, a drive through historic St. Michaels quickly invites visitors to observe the Art League at work. Each year, starting in April, new banners created by League members help beautify the town. The Art League’s programs have already helped strengthen alliances between business, educational, residential, and community organizations and continue to help make St. Michaels a charming destination for visitors and a thriving arts community. This welcome sponsorship will provide support for these efforts.

Denis Dunn, president, AT&T Maryland, said AT’&T invests in its infrastructure – and in community initiatives across Maryland.

“At AT&T, we support programs that enrich the quality of life in communities across Maryland,” said Dunn. “ARTfest is a great program for residents and visitors to St. Michaels, and we’re thrilled to support the 2014 programming.”

All information relating to this celebration can be accessed at stmichaelsartleague.org.
