On Saturday, January 12, 2013 at about 10:00 pm, Easton Police responded to the Highs convenience store (Elliott Rd) for an attempted Armed Robbery. Upon the officer’s arrival, they were told that a white male, wearing a blue or purple jacket had just attempted to Rob the store.
According to store employees, the suspect entered the store and approached one of the clerks, demanding money while motioning to his waist, indicating that he had a gun. Before that clerk could respond, the suspect went to the back of the store and confronted another clerk and demanded money. This clerk told the suspect “no”. The suspect then left the store on foot.
Both clerks reported that the suspect appeared very nervous and attempted to conceal his face with his shirt.
No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as:

- Possibly a blue or purple jacket
