Select Agent 86 Reconnaissance Footage: Taylors Island by Air

January 17, 2026 by Spy Agent 86 1 Comment

Following the distribution of Agent 86’s aerial video of Hoopers Island last week, our division on nearby Taylors Island wrote to the Spy to ask ‘What about us?”  Management thought this was an appropriate ask and dispatched 86 to Taylors to do surveillance.  His report is attached.

This video is approximately two minutes in length.

Agent 86 Reconnaissance Footage: Hoopers Island by Air

January 11, 2026 by Spy Agent 86 2 Comments

Agent 86 has been complaining of cabin fever lately, what with all the cold weather, wind and rain. Management identified a favorable weather day and suggested that 86 head to Hoopers Island to see what he could find. As an inducement, knowing that 86 was big on crab cakes without filler, management offered to fund his lunch at Old Salty’s. 86′ surveillance report is attached.

This video is approximately three minutes in length.

Agent 86 Reconnaissance Footage: A Midshore Weather Report

December 15, 2025 by Spy Agent 86

Yesterday, the Spy dispatched 86 to cover the snowstorm here. 86 elected to do so by drone and flew over the upper Tred Avon River, the Inn at Perry Cabin, CBMM, the St. Michaels Harbor, and downtown St. Michaels.  His reconnaissance accompanies this note.

Agent 86 Reconnaissance Footage: A Spy in New York City

December 13, 2025 by Spy Agent 86

Agent 86 approached management last week and asked if he could receive his Christmas bonus early in order to fund a trip to the Big Apple.  86 wanted to take in the holiday spirit along Fifth Avenue and said he would provide photos of what he found.  86’s request was granted, and management is told that the bonus funded the entire cost of a one-way coach ticket to New York on AMTRAK’s Northeast Regional train.
Whether 86 has sufficient funds to purchase a ticket for the return trip to Easton is unknown. However, 86 did manage to get his photos back to us.  They are contained in the accompanying slideshow.
This video is approximately 2 minutes in length.

Agent 86 Reconnaissance Footage: Waterfowl Festival 2025

November 17, 2025 by Spy Agent 86

It didn’t take much effort to have Agent 86 agree to cover the 2025 Waterfowl Festival in Easton last weekend. The annual event, which celebrates all that is great about living on the Eastern Shore, has been the secret agent’s favorite assignment for many years, and the results show in this surveillance report, which was turned in on time and perfectly highlighted one of the region’s most popular and beloved gatherings of dogs and their humans.

This video is approximately 2 minutes in length.

Agent 86 Reconnaissance Footage: A Spook Reports on Spooks in Talbot County

October 25, 2025 by Spy Agent 86

With Halloween upon us, the Spy decided to dispatch the most spooky of its spooks, Agent 86, to capture the moment. Management felt that 86 would be quite comfortable among ghosts, witches, and goblins—all kindred spirits—and would welcome the assignment.  This proved prescient as 86 has been gone now for several days and doesn’t appear interested in returning anytime soon.   However, he did file the attached interim report.

This video is approximately two minutes in length.

Agent 86 Reconnaissance Footage: Special Assignment over Rockland

August 9, 2025 by Spy Agent 86

Agent 86 reported to management recently that he had flown to Maine to escape the heat and humidity on the Eastern Shore (and perhaps as an escape from the high-pressure work environment at the Spy). 86 chose Rockland as his venue because he knew that Chris Brownawell, a former director of the Academy Art Museum, had gone there in 2010 as CEO of the Farnsworth Art Museum and remains there today, 15 years later.

86 thought that if Rockland had set well with Brownawell, perhaps he also would find the area appealing.  In any event, 86 wanted to view the extensive Wyeth collection at the Farnsworth.  86′ video surveillance follows. Prominent in the video is the Maine Lobster Festival. 86 made very clear that he wouldn’t return to Mid-Shore until the Festival had concluded.
