Bartlett Tree Experts Donates Services to Talbot County Women’s Club Yard & Garden

April 10, 2021 by Amy Blades Steward

The Talbot County Women’s Club needed tree work done on its property at 18 Talbot Lane in Easton and Zack Richardson, Arborist Representative with Bartlett Tree Experts of St. Michaels, answered the call and donated the company’s services to address the problems.  The property’s historic maple tree had several limbs which needed arbor services due to safety concerns and other shrubbery needed pruning.

Three employees with Bartlett Tree Experts spent most of a day trimming the trees, pruning out the deadwood, and cutting back bushes on the property. The Club bought The James Price House on Talbot Lane (c. 1790) and its adjacent house (c. 1803) in 1946. In 1947, renovations joined the two houses and continued over the years. Today, the Club still has several important capital projects underway to restore its historic structure.

Shirley Brodhead, a long-time member of the Club who reached out to Bartlett Tree Experts initially, commented. “We can’t be thankful enough for the wonderful services they provided for the Club. Now the yard looks amazing and it is such a relief our tree is no longer a potential for danger.”
