Bradbury Named to MIAA All Conference Cross Country

December 7, 2018 by Saints Peter & Paul Schools

(L-R): Coach Chris Thompson, Fred Bradbury, and Coach Alex Pool

Saints Peter & Paul High School would like to congratulate the Men’s Cross Country team for their outstanding performance at the recent MIAA Championships at McDaniel College. Pacing the team was Senior Frederick Bradbury who placed 7th in the MIAA C Conference, completing the 5K in 18:37 on what was one of the more difficult courses in recent years.  A four-year varsity letter winner and two-time captain, Fred is the first Sabre runner to ever place at the MIAAs and was the first Sabre to be named to the All MIAA Cross Country Team.

Coach Alex Pool commented on Fred’s contribution to the program.  “Fred has been an integral part of the XC team this year. Coach Thompson and I are proud of Fred’s leadership and motivation toward the team.  As the captain this year, Fred has held the team to a high standard and has built a running culture for our Saints Peter and Paul community.  We are very proud of his achievements!”
