Members of the Birthing Center’s Breastfeeding Support Group met at Blue Crab Coffee in St. Michaels on Friday, August 2, 2019 for playtime and parents’ meet-and-greet. “We hope that these kinds of get-togethers outside the hospital will encourage more parents to be more interested in the advantages of breastfeeding and consider joining the group,” says Carol Leonard, lactation nurse in the Birthing Center and coordinator for the group.
