A public forum of candidates for contested Cambridge mayor and city council positions will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Intergenerational Center on Chesapeake Street.

The event — sponsored by the Cambridge Spy, Cambridge Association of Neighborhoods, The Dorchester Star, and WHCP Radio — will be conducted by the
League of Women Voters moderated by members of the sponsoring groups, which will generate questions for the candidates.

Three afternoon sessions will be held to accommodate the 13 candidates running in contested races. The event will be live-streamed and available on demand and later broadcast on WHCP radio and the Spy Newspapers.

The election will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Scheduling and further details will be announced in upcoming news releases.
