For the right, left, and in-between, politics has become a joke that just isn’t funny anymore. That’s why it’s everyone’s patriotic duty to see the Capitol Steps comedy troupe when they return to the Avalon…they help put the fun back into our political fundamentals!
Back in 1981, the Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. In the years that followed, they’ve recorded over 30 albums, including their latest, Desperate Housemembers.
They’ve been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard four times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.
If you want to restore our common pursuit of life, liberty, and laughter, then you’ll elect to see the Capitol Steps!
