Carpe Diem Arts Presents The Grandsons: Valentine’s & Mardi Gras Celebration. The event will take place at Talbot County Senior Center on February 13, 2018, 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Aptly described as “American music in a blender with the lid off,” The Grandsons find inspiration in New Orleans street parades, blues, rockabilly swing, jazz and honky tonk country. The Washington Area Music Association named The Grandsons Artist of the Year and dubbed their latest recording Album of the year. www.grandsons.com
The monthly Second Tuesday Carpe Diem series of 45-minute performances are FREE and open to the public. Lunch is available at 12 noon for $2.75 (with one week advance reservation). RSVP: 410-822-2869 / [email protected]
This program is made possible by the generous support of the Talbot County Arts Council with revenues provided by the Maryland State Arts Council, and by the Mid-Shore Community Foundation (MSCF), Dock Street Foundation, Brookletts Place, the Artistic Insights Fund, and by individual contributions to the Carpe Diem Arts Outreach Fund/MSCF.
