On four Fridays this summer, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is offering guests and their families the chance to watch classic movies on its waterfront St. Michaels, Md., campus. Movies will be projected on a large screen on Navy Point in front of the scenic Miles River.
The series consists of “Night at the Museum” on July 12, “The Sandlot” on July 19, “Princess Bride” on July 26, and “Big” on Aug. 2. All showings begin at 8:30pm, and have a rain date of the following evening.
Guests should bring their own blankets, chairs, and picnic baskets. Ice cream will be available for purchase each night. Seating is first-come, first served. Dogs are not permitted on CBMM’s campus during special events and festivals, with the exception of certified service dogs.
CBMM’s summer movie nights are free for CBMM members and children 18 and under, or $3 for non-member adults. To learn more, visit cbmm.org.
