Chesapeake Regional Tech Council to Hold Eastern Shore Meet Up

October 14, 2014 by

Maryland has an innovative technology sector. In an effort to strengthen the gap between the Eastern and Western Shore tech communities, the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council is announcing its collaboration with the Eastern Shore’s Tech Community on Thursday, October 16th, 2014, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for a “Pay Your Own Way” Happy Hour for the first CRTC/Eastern Shore Meet Up, at the Tidewater Inn in Easton.

This is a strategic opportunity for tech professionals from both sides of the Chesapeake to discuss ways to expand connections and opportunities in-person and virtually in the months to come. We’ll have appetizers to share and count on you to buy your beverage.

“Rapid advancement in technology continues to transform the business environment, providing existing businesses opportunities for increased profitability while reducing entry barriers for new businesses. Leading Eastern Shore innovators know that innovation is inspired through collaboration. The CRTC/Eastern Shore Meet Up provides a forum to meet those leaders,” says Tracy Ward, Executive Director of the Easton Economic Development Corporation.

The CRTC/Eastern Shore Meet Up will allow professionals to share development leads and catch up on tech related news. No fee is required however registration is requested so we can plan effectively. For more information, please contact Christina Royle at 410.630.8201 or [email protected]

More than 300 businesses from the Annapolis-Washington-Baltimore area are members of the council, including many of the area’s well-known leading technology companies. For more information go to https://www.chesapeaketech.org
